DIY Go Live Checklist
Congratulations! You’re ready to take your new website live. Please use this guide to complete the final steps for publishing, optimizing, and connecting your domain.
⚠️ Important: Even if you choose the DIY publishing option, the Go Live process must still be pre-scheduled with the iClassPro Web Team.
There are administration and development tasks our team needs to complete in advance. Please provide 1–2 business days’ notice before your desired launch date
Important Tasks to Review for a Successful DIY Go Live Site Launch
Before your new site can successfully go live, please review and complete the following tasks. These steps are critical to ensure proper functionality, SEO performance, and a smooth launch experience.
Content & Pages
- Review multi-language needs (if applicable)
- Review and archive old/unused pages
- Confirm all pages display correctly across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile – test on real screens)
- Verify each page has proper H1 tags, descriptions, and alt tags for images
- Ensure each page has a completed SEO setup (meta title, description, keywords, etc.)
- Check each page’s URL slug for clarity and SEO value
- Remove “No Index” (site-wide and per-page settings)
Connecting Customer Portal Integrated Page
- Create the portal page URLS in your Editor Collections settings
- Attach the Enroll Now buttons to the correct URL portal page throughout all site pages.
SEO & Analytics
- Install Google Analytics (or GA4)
- Set up 301 redirects for old/existing URLs
- Customize 404 error page (SEO & Settings)
- Add site icons (favicon, app icons) in SEO & Settings
- Contact Forms: Configure email submission and reply settings.
Compliance & Accessibility
- Run accessibility check
- Confirm the ADA widget is active (if used)
- Add Privacy Policy / Cookies notice
Go Live Final Steps
- Blog migration completed (if applicable)
- Google Analytics is tested and tracking properly
- Schedule/complete Go-Live review call (if needed)
Final Step: Connecting Your Domain
Step 1 – Log in to your domain host
- Go to your Domain Management area.
- Locate the DNS settings/DNS records section.
Step 2 – Add a CNAME record
Create a new CNAME record with the following settings:
- Host/Alias:
www
- Destination/Target:
s.multiscreensite.com
Step 3 – Add A records for the root domain
Point the root of your domain ( domain.com
) to your new website by creating
two A records:
First A Record
- Host/Alias:

Second A Record

Allow time for DNS propagation
- Changes typically take 24–48 hours to fully propagate worldwide.
- In some cases, it may take up to 72 hours.
- During this time, some visitors may still see your old site until the update completes.
